Creative and detail-oriented Lead Digital Designer with a passion for UX. Over 7 years of experience in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile platforms. Adept at blending aesthetics with seamless UX to deliver visually stunning and user-friendly products. Lead Digital Designer

ValueLights Ltd

  • Designed a new  product listing page aimed at increasing the conversion rate of users checking out. After conducting thorough research into page analytics, I ensured the designs included strategic placements for personalised messages, such as "Spend an extra £X to get free delivery." These enhancements are intended to guide customers through the purchasing process more effectively and boost overall sales. See the project here.

 

  • Mentor & support Graduate Designer to foster knowledge transfer and professional development, creating a supportive environment for skill enhancement and growth.

 

  • Developed designs and visuals for five major seasonal launches per year, with creative signage/banners, website graphics, POS, brand story-telling, eCommerce and social assets. Oversaw the design development and artwork to deliver cohesive, commercial and inspiring launches.

 

  • Develop and attend seasonal product photoshoots for use by Creative, eCommerce, Marketing and PR. Along with contributing to art direction, delivering a successful shoot, from logistics and set-up to pack down and distribution of assets.

 

  • Working close with NPD teams, develop on-brand, modern, desirable, home and garden packaging designs which adhere to our sustainable principles and meet the commercial criteria.

 

  • Developed designs for customer emails and websites.

 

  • Worked closely with our sister brand, Minisun Trade (B2B), oversee photography planning, development, artwork and email marketing strategy.

 

  • Support the internal teams with photography and design requirement for multi-channel usage like ebay or Amazon A+ listings

 

  • Led a comprehensive re-brand initiative encompassing tone of voice, colour schemes, banner designs, and typography (April 2023). See the project here

 

  • Created comprehensive photography guidelines from the ground up, encompassing rules for product listing imagery, marketing assets, video content, and social media assets; categorised into educational and inspirational content. See the copy here.
